About
Meet Dawn
Dawn Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the State of Texas, practicing under the clinical supervision of Whitney Mclean, LPC-S. She started Pine and Prairie Therapy to give families in Northeast Texas a counselor close to home, someone who understands small-town life and the pressures that come with it.
Her approach is warm, practical and direct. Sessions are a place to slow down, make sense of what is happening, and leave with tools you can use during the week.

Simple self-pay
Pine and Prairie Therapy is self-pay at this time and does not bill insurance. Because Dawn is an LPC Associate, sessions are offered at a lower rate than many fully licensed counselors charge.
Ask about the current session rate when you reach out. If you have out-of-network benefits, your plan may still reimburse part of the cost; check with your insurance company.
